Comprehensive assessment views behavioral (internalizing and externalizing) concerns through the whole child lens. The purpose of comprehensive assessment is to develop an understanding of concerns and “diagnosis” function and skill deficits to inform evidence-based interventions. Comprehensive assessment is completed through the RIOT process.
