Central Rivers AEA has developed a series of procedures to follow in emergency situations and cases of illness or injury. Emergency information for each office location and instructional programs served by Central Rivers AEA are included with the contact information for staff members trained in CPR/Basic First Aid/AED. Locations of first aid supplies, flashlights, fire extinguishers, and other important information are also included. The Emergency Procedure Manual can be viewed or downloaded for each office location.
The agency also has Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) for each Central Rivers AEA Conference Center Area in Clear Lake, Cedar Falls and Marshalltown. Staff members are encouraged to periodically review the AED instructional video so that they have knowledge of how the units work. Your quick action could save a life!
